![]() Some people entertain themselves for hours typing messages by tapping on the middle predictive text suggestion. This is very handy if it’s a long word, or if you can’t spell it. This handy feature pops up a selection of words you might be in the process of typing just above the keyboard, so that you can tap on the word, rather than finish typing it. And tap on redo to redo something you removed accidentally. Tap on undo (the curving arrow) to undo your mistake. When you shake your phone to correct a mistake you will see a message that you can double tap with three fingers to bring up various options including: undo, cut, paste, copy and redo. In iOS 13 there’s a better way to undo your mistakes (at least those you type). One of the frustrations, aside from the physically having to shake your phone, was that once undone you couldn’t redo, but that’s also changed in iOS 13. It’s slightly embarrassing on public transport, although perhaps it is a good way of dealing with your rage at the mistake you made. ![]() In iOS 12 we were often seen shaking our phone every time we made a mistake. ![]()
